The heavy duty fabric is complemented by comparably solid construction throughout, too.
They're made from a 100% cotton military cord (aka bedford cloth, the same stuff that the outside of N-1 Deck Jackets are made from) with a dense texture and sturdy drape. Up close, the fabric resembles corduroy, woven to resist wind and moisture and keep you comfortable during the cold seasons.
