From Victorian era curiosities to early 20th century equestrian and motorcycle wear to rare WW2 era items - Black Sign garments are beautifully constructed, with a shared identity and aesthetic cohesion running through the collection to a degree we rarely see in brands focusing on reproductions & recreations.

Taking inspiration from 1950s French workwear trousers, they've got a detailed button fly and chambray pocket backs as well as an "unfinished" serged hem for easy tailoring. Cut with a nice high rise and full, straight legs, these have that classic old school flat-front chino fit, with two side entry front pockets and two welted rear pockets for storage.

They're made from a twisted heather cord fabric, plush, sturdy, and surprisingly soft for how dense it is without being stiff or uncomfortable. It's 100% cotton, with a salt and pepper texture as well as vertical cording for additional heat retention, an excellent and versatile fabric for cold seasons.
