The Real McCoy's "Ball Park" sublabel makes their heaviest weight cotton knitwear. Specific, I know, but when you've handled a Ball Park knit, lighter weight sweatshirts don't quite feel the same anymore. The Snap Button Hooded Sweatshirt is, in this respect, the King of the Beasts, being made from the very heaviest cotton jersey that McCoy's produce.
Inspired by vintage "benchwarmer" jackets, this heavy duty hoodie really walks the fine line between knitwear and outerwear. Featuring a brass snap front body (hence the name), a relaxed fit, two boxing-glove-shaped hand pockets, and a zip hood (not in the way you think). The accommodate the super heavy body fabric, the cuffs and hem are knit up from a wool fabric, for extra durability and insulation. Similarly, the elbows are also reinforced, ensuring many long years of wear before needing to worry about maintenance.
Featuring a reinforced attachment point, the hood can be unzipped from the top and worn flat as a modified collar if one so chooses - or zip it all the way up and use it as a normal hood. It's sewn up with 100% cotton threads, too, because they don't mess around at The Real McCoy's.
Fits true to size. Minimal shrinkage expected with a cold wash and flat dry.
