Description
Indigofera's blankets are phenomenal - they're thick, heavy, surprisingly soft, and they always have breathtaking graphics that are fully reversible. These blankets are lifetime purchases, only getting better with age. You'll want to have one on the couch, in the back of the truck, and anywhere else you want to be cozy.
The family-owned Norwegian factory that produces these blankets have been weaving quality wool products since 1940, building on a local tradition that goes back centuries. Spinning the yarn, dying and weaving the blanket itself all take place in a single integrated and self-operated chain of production. The sheep graze on clean, fresh mountain pastures, making their wool pure and environmentally friendly.
This special-edition run of Snake River blankets depict the iconic natural scenery of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, with the Snake River itself at the front and the Tetons cutting an impressive background above it. The design evokes and takes inspiration from Ansel Adams' famous photograph of the same landscape from Snake River Overlook in Grand Teton National Park. These blankets were produced in collaboration between Indigofera, Grit General in Jackson Hole, and O.P Jewelry in Sweden (who designed a special bolo tie with the same design).
Like every Indigofera blanket, it's not the same on both faces, with a "negative" reverse color palate on the back.
