Produced in Japan by Warehouse & Co, John Gluckow garments are designed in collaboration with John Gluckow himself, a long time industry veteran and respected vintage collector. Each piece is functionally familiar but stylistically unique - not interested in simply replaying the hits, John finds weird, funky, and obscure styles that nobody else is making and rebuilds them to the highest quality.
The Seahorse vs Starfish Shirt is a vibrant printed vacation shirt with an aloha collar and two hand pockets. Cut with a relaxed, slightly oversized fit, it can be worn as a base layer or a light overshirt, with a flat hem that's meant to be worn untucked. The nautical design is pattern-matched through the body, giving a nice symmetry to the design.
The fabric is made with 100% cotton, a tightly-woven and lightweight canvas that is soft and comfortable from the moment you put it on. It'll continue to soften (and very slowly fade) with wear and as you wash it, developing a unique patina over time. The buttons are also 100% coconut, a fitting thematic match to the style and design of the shirt.
Fits true to size with a relaxed fit. Wash cold and hang dry.
