Product details
The Packard is Freenote's latest style of Western Shirt, featuring a more rounded longhorn yoke and acorn pockets. The fit is somewhere between relaxed and tailored, sitting comfortably slim but not snug, with plenty of room to move - it's a great work overshirt, layering easily over knits like tees or heavier mid-layers like sweaters and flannels. The chest features two surprisingly spacious snap pockets, and the sleeves end in a classic two snap setup that can be easily cuffed like a non-leather shirt.
It's made from a chocolate brown "reverse" goatskin - which is to say that they flipped the hide so that things are suede-side-out and smooth-side-in. Tanned by Tustin & Burnett in England, it's immediately soft and comfortable, requiring virtually no break-in and quickly taking the shape of the wearer's body. Over time, the suede will wear down to a more smooth texture in areas that regularly experience abrasion, developing a unique and handsome patina.
The construction is Freenote's usual top tier work, with 1/8" double needle stitching details and custom Freenote copper snaps. Inside, it's left "unlined" with the smooth face of the leather facing inwards to provide a surprisingly plush and secure interior. Plus, check out that downright gorgeous woven "Freenote Leathers" label sewn into the neck.
Fits true to size. Do not wash or dry.
