"Not Just a Pair of Pants - The Story of Denim" by Carrie Cizauskas is a 40-page historical graphic novel that unravels the life of denim jeans, from raw cotton to faded indigo. Fully-illustrated, this project is the culmination of several years of research by Author/Illustrator Carrie Cizauskas, published by S&S-owner Jeremy Smith and available for sale in our brick-and-mortar shops as well as our website.

Available in two different editions — the standard print which uses a high-quality gloss paper and soft cover, and the Artist Edition, which is hand-bound with 100% linen thread and features a deadstock denim/chambray hardcover with 3-color lino block print design.

This is the hand-bound artist edition. Due to the handmade nature of these printings, no two will be exactly alike, and there may be small (and entirely superficial) imperfections.
