Since 2006, Mountain Research has been delivering some of the best outdoor wear around – both in style and function. The brainchild of Japanese designer Kobayashi Setsumasa, the brand has a singular focus on outdoor life without falling into any of any stereotypical ravines of the style. Kobayashi takes inspiration from the golden age of outdoor wear, military and naval designs, as well as modern mountaineering gear. Altogether, it refers to itself as ‘Anarcho Mountaineers.’

A stalwart of Mountain Research, the MT Trousers features many of the hallmarks of classic outdoor performance pants. They feature an integrated drawstring nylon belt with a mid rise and a wide fight that tapered down into a cuffed hem.

Made from a 100% merino wool in a muted Prince of Wales Check. Merino wool is ideal for outdoor wear, lightweight, insulating while still breathable, and quick drying too.

The trousers have two front side pockets along with two back pockets (one buttoned and one button flap closure).

True to size with a relaxed fit. Hand wash cold and hang dry or dry clean.

Orders to Hawaii, Alaska, AE/APO addresses, and PO boxes will be shipped with USPS. All other US orders will ship UPS unless otherwise requested.
