Based on casual sports jackets common around the United States between the 30s and 40s, the Moleskin Sports jacket is a very handsome yet unflashy outer layer. Featuring an old school fit, with a roomy chest, slightly cropped body, and dropped shoulders, the magic of the fit comes from the knit wool ribbing around the waist, which gives the garment its signature silhouette.
It's made from a sturdy brown moleskin - not too heavy or light, it's as wind resistant as cotton can be, and shockingly soft to the touch. Though it can be a bit more rigid at first, the fabric quickly breaks in and takes the shape of the wearer, relaxing as it is worn.
On the front, there are two decently sized patch pockets that secure closed with tonal corozo nut buttons (the same buttons that close up the front of the jacket), these are great for keys and wallets, but might not be quite big enough for today's very large mobile phones.
