The Merino Mouton D-Pocket is a luxurious take on the double-rider jacket style, with a full mouton lining through the body AND sleeves. It's heavy, soft, and remarkably warm thanks to the merino mouton and sheepskin body, with a handsome and classic silhouette and premium hardware.
It's cut slightly larger than your standard motorcycle jacket to account for the thickness of the shearling body, but the silhouette is still comfortably-fitted, with a cropped torso and snug waist. The placket is asymmetrical, with a zipped double-breasted front that can be worn open to show off the iconic double rider lapels, or zipped fully for extra warmth and wind protection. The back features a complex pleated-and-gusseted action back design to help with freedom of movement, making the jacket easy to wear even before it's been broken-in.
The mouton sheepskin leather is an extremely plush and premium tannage from the Colomer Leather Group in Spain. Featuring an extremely dense and comfortable merino shearling interior, it's an outstanding insulator, with a thick but supple sheepskin outer face that takes the shape of the wearer's body quickly, and without much difficulty.
The details are all there too: five pockets (four on the outside, one on the inside), metal hardware (zippers, snaps), shoulder epaulets, belt loops around the waist, and some really precise stitchwork throughout.
Fits true to size. Spot clean with leather care products only, do not wash.
