The Matty Shirt is one of Indi + Ash's core styles, a classic long-sleeve shirt with a handsome collar and elegant, relaxed profile. Each shirt is made start to finish by a single operator, resulting in exceptional quality and attention to detail throughout construction. Lightweight and comfortable, it breathes well and feels good worn tucked or untucked.
Cut with a relaxed fit through the body, the front hem is flat, while the shirttail is slightly curved, giving you the freedom to dress it up by tucking it in, or keep it untucked for a more casual aesthetic. A surprisingly roomy chest pocket sits on the left breast, while corozo buttons and French seams do the work of holding everything else together.
Made in a "patchwork" style with different custom cotton fabrics, a handwoven cotton canvas fabric and another handwoven textured fabric with a running stitch detail. Both are exceptionally soft and plush, with subtle tonal variety throughout as a result of the iron and indigo spacedye. Over time, the fabric will fade as the pigments wear away from wear and washes.
Fits true to size with a relaxed fit. Wash cold and hang dry.
