The Linen Atelier Coat sits at a historical intersection between workwear and art, being the preferred style of French painters and artisans during the 19th century. Cut wide and long, it was designed to be worn over your street clothing, with a loose and relaxed fit that draped handsomely, helping to keep paint or clay from leaving the workshop on any unintended garments.
Made from a double woven linen moleskin fabric, it's a fantastic blend of sturdiness and comfort, breathing easily in the heat and never clinging to your body. The relaxed fit features three roomy bucket pockets along the front, a chunky collar and lapel, and tonal urea buttons throughout. The sleeves are cut long, and are expected to shrink as much as an inch in length over the course of the first few washes.
Fits true to size. Wash cold and hang dry.
