Taking its inspiration from vintage USN chambray work shirts, the Lake Camp shirt is a stellar reimagining for the civilian market. Cut with a relaxed camp collar, it features a wide, breezy fit, short sleeves, and a French placket inside. Existing right at the boundary between casual wear and workwear, it's a shirt that can do both. The Lake Camp Shirt Jac is a slightly heavier weight version of the standard Lake Camp Shirt.
As good as two shirts in one, the Reversible Lake Camp Shirt uses a double-sided indigo stripe fabric with pattern-matched details on both sides. The outer face features a textured indigo with contrast stripes, while the inner face has a darker, more full indigo dye and bolder stripe contrast. Either way you wear it, there are two external pockets and two internal pockets for storage, and will patina over time and after washes.
It's made from Kala cotton, a wild organic cotton from India that is grown without any pesticides, fertilizers, or irrigation - growing perfectly fine on just rainwater and its own natural resistance to pests and disease. Naturally short staple, a special finishing process combined with hand-weave produce a fabric that is softer and more comfortable than it has any business being. The whole thing closes up with white catseye buttons on the inside and outside, allowing you to wear it either way without looking like your shirt is inside-out.
