Together, they combine old-world tailoring (from various antique European manuals) with workwear production techniques. Constant research into garment production techniques around the world informs their design, with the goal of creating “recreations” rather than “reproductions”
These are a proper pair of tailored trousers with a handsome "Hollywood waist", where the fabric of the legs continues up to the top and is turned over to finish the waist. This eliminates the need for a separate waistband piece, creating an exceptionally comfortable fit and flattering. In addition, these feature a split waistband, allowing for size adjustments over time at the tailor, if necessary.
They're made from a rich brown linen, produced by Spence Bryson Mills in Ireland - one of the most renowned linen producers in the world today, with a history dating back to the 1800s. This particular fabric is a medium weight basket weave, giving the linen a little more structure and form than other twill weaves, but still allowing the material to breathe well and draping handsomely.
True to size with a snug fit through the waist. Wash cold, hang dry, iron with medium heat.
