Produced exclusively for their 25th Anniversary and in highly limited quantities, the Anniversary Grizzly Jackets are the first models in this style that Y'2 have released since their 20th Anniversary. Cut from their iconic eco horsehide, it features a more contemporary fit, with dark brown mouton throughout and a plaid wool lining on the inside.

The horsehide grizzly jacket is one of the most serious leather jackets ever conceived. The biker equivalent of the sheepskin flight jacket, grizzly jackets combine sturdy horsehide bodies with extensive mouton sheepskin trims, armoring any wearer against wind and cold.

The Eco Horse leather is no joke - this is a 1.8mm thick horsehide, based on motorcycle and auto racing leathers from the 1930s. It's tanned with an excess of oils, and then shrunken by about 20%, granting its additional thickness and stiffness. Over time, it will slowly break in and soften with wear, gradually easing into the shape of your body, but brand new it's among the stiffest and heaviest leathers we carry.

In addition to being nigh-impenetrable, the black Eco Horse leather is a real looker. Not as outwardly flashy as some other horsehides, it features a subtle and beautiful grain texture, with a moderate shine. The panels are large and chosen specifically for the smoothest finish and best looking grain, giving a very clean and cohesive finish to the simple, no-nonsense jacket pattern.

The details are stripped back, for a more clean and simplified exterior - Y'2 have removed the belt from the front, replacing it with side tab buttons for adjusting the fit through the hem. The paneling is meticulous, cut for maximum comfort and utility even when riding a motorcycle (this is a leather jacket, after all), and features heavy-duty hardware, from the brass zipper to the corozo nut buttons and custom woven labels inside.
