The Joe McCoy western shirts are about as classic as they come - with a flattering (but non-restrictive) fit, diamond snaps, and the classic angled yoke & sawtooth pockets. We love Western Shirts here at the shop, and while it's certainly not surprising or unexpected, The Real McCoy's make some of the very best.
Made from an unsanforized Japanese selvedge denim, these have been cut large, and are intended to shrink to tag size over the first 1-3 washes (depending on water temperature and drying method). The fabric is custom, and was developed by the Real McCoy's to layer lighter indigo threads at the surface of the outer face, recreating the brighter indigo coloration found on denim western shirts from the 1960s.
Raw, unsanforized, shrink to fit denim. Fits true to size after washing and drying. Cold wash and hang dry for less shrinkage, increase heat for more.
