The Cooper "Shirt" is really more of a jacket in our opinion, with western details and a vaguely type-2 silhouette. The Type 2 jacket style usually features a two pocket front with large, covered pockets at the middle chest, as well as a flat hem, and narrow double-pleats running up both sides of the placket from the hem to the dropped front yoke. Notably lacking only the pleats, the Cooper Shirt has angled the front and back yokes, with sawtooth pockets and snap closures throughout.
It's made from a dark olive goatskin suede leather, incredibly soft and comfortable for a new leather, with a plush texture and fluid drape. The dark olive color has a warm and desaturated appearance, with a very tight suede nap (the "hairiness" of the suede) that will develop a unique patina as certain areas wear smooth and shiny over time.
The snaps are all custom Indigofera-branded brass, a hard-wearing take on an essential detail. It's unlined, but the interior is also suede, so you aren't missing out on much except some heat retention. The "tag" is also leather, the same used for patches on most Indigofera denim waistbands, with their signature Gryphon stamp as branding.
The fit is relaxed, with a wide body and slightly cropped torso. As this is 100% suede, we do not suggest allowing this garment to get wet if you can help it.
