Designed and manufactured in-house at their LA workshop, MATiAS produce some of the best fits we've experienced, with subtle and sometimes unusual tailoring details, employed deliberately to perfect drape, enhance comfort, & compliment their remarkable fabric choices.
The Colusa Pant combines details from MATiAS's Rivera and Somonte pants, with a roomy top block and an aggressive taper down the leg. Constructed with a single seam on each leg, shaping darts in the front and back, no yoke, and a cleanly finished interior, they're a seriously impressive combo of both tailoring and design. The waistband is its own piece, and contains a woven cord drawstring for adjusting your fit on the fly.
They've got two front hand pockets with easy slash entrances and two classic bucket pockets on the back, so, the usual amount of space for your goods. The hardware is also serious, on par with the fabric and tailoring - with tonal rivets reinforcing key areas, and a zip fly with a custom patinated button and toggle closure.
They're made from an 18oz 100% cotton Japanese denim that is finished with an all black overdye to imbue it with a rich dark color throughout. It's sturdy and thick without being too stiff or uncomfortable, having been treated for shrinkage and softness, and will only continue to soften over time from wear and washing.
Fits true to size with an adjustable waistband. Wash cold and hang dry.
