A truly exceptional Rugby shirt, McCoy's took their inspiration for these from vintage climbing shirts popularized in the 1970s. The end result has all the charm and style of an original, with the incredible eye for detail and meticulous construction that we've come to expect from McCoy's. 

Just like the originals, these are 100% cotton, knit up in a dense heavyweight configuration with a slubby outer face and a substantial drape. Perfect for use as an overshirt on hotter days, and layering on top of when things cool down, it's an extremely versatile garment despite its thickness.

The other details also don't disappoint, with tonal rubber buttons that close up the collar and hidden placket, tightly knit sleeve cuffs, and a custom woven Joe McCoy Sportswear label. The body is cut wide and long, perfect for throwing on without needing to think about too much, and the gussets beneath each arm make that remarkably easy.

True to size for a relaxed, overshirt fit. Will shrink a bit (mostly in length) after the first wash - wash cold and hang dry.
