The Buckle Back Pants are a classic workwear style trouser, with a high rise, straight leg fit and, obvious, a buckle back. Designed exclusively for S&S, these are based on a modified version of our original Garden Pant style, with a split back waistband and four roomy pockets, but with a more contemporary zip fly as opposed to the usual buttons.

They're made from a returning favorite fabric here at S&S — Blluemade's Italian-milled 100% cotton velvet. Despite using no synthetic yarns, it has all the expected luster and softness of a non-cotton velvet fabric. Exceptionally comfortable, and warmer than your average twill or canvas, it's an absolute stunner that will only get better over time, and this year's Walnut brown colorway is a total showstopper, with a deep, rich green/brown tone that comes alive in direct light.

Each piece is designed in Brooklyn and then cut-and-sewn together in NYC's Garment District, at a family-owned and women-run workshop that Blluemade have been working with for years.

Orders to Hawaii, Alaska, AE/APO addresses, and PO boxes will be shipped with USPS. All other US orders will ship UPS unless otherwise requested.
