Samuel Zelig is a modern brand producing vintage-style garments, with a focus on what they call "uniform standards and closet essentials". Taking their inspiration from traditional American workwear styles, the designs are bolstered with French & Japanese manufacturing practices, tweaked to fit and move better without sacrificing durability or design.

The designs are highly customized, from embroidery to printwork, with unique washing and fading finishes to elevate each style well beyond its silhouette. The artwork and original designs adorning each piece from Samuel Zelig are created by designers Jonathan Levite and Melissa Marsella, changing each season and with each style.

The Boxing Sweatpants are the companion "trousers" to the Boxing Hoodie from Samuel Zelig, made from the same cotton knit and featuring the same boxing-themed designs. Cut with a generous four pockets, they're a seriously cool pair of sweats, with printed and embroidered details throughout.

They're made from a 15oz, 100% cotton french terry cloth from Japan that's been given a vintage wash to prematurely patina the fabric and manage all shrinkage. They've got a classic fit, tapering slightly, but with unelasticated leg openings befitting a proper pair of sweatpants (as opposed to more modern joggers).

The construction is solid, from the double-needle coverstitched seams to the elasticated waistband with interior drawstring, they're made to last. The inside of the knit is unbrushed, giving it a more dry and airy hand that is more suitable for year-round wear.

These run slightly large - if you're between sizes, we suggest taking the smaller of the two. Wash cold and dry flat.
