Inspired by vintage hunting shirts, most popular around the 1940s in the Midwestern United States, the 8HU Heavy Moleskin shirt is an absolute beast of an overshirt. With a warm and heavy custom fabric and a great fit the Real McCoy's have absolutely delivered once again.
This 100% cotton moleskin is produced on a dobby loom, imbuing it with a double-weave. The low tension fabric also features a unique slubby texture, but retains all the usual wind-resistance of a high quality moleskin fabric. The external seams are all two row flat felled seams, for extra durability.
Cut roomy enough to layer over a sweater or a less heavy shirt, but not so wide as to feel out of place over a tee. Two chest pockets give some storage space for small things, like cards or keys, and everything closes up with tonal (black) urea buttons.
These run true to size for a relaxed, overshirt fit. Minimal shrinkage expected with a cold wash and hang dry.
