Kapital is undoubtedly one of the most unique brands we carry, as well as one of our absolute favorites. From their iconic Ring Coats and Century Denim, to the scarves and bandannas we love so much, to their patchwork and Kountry pieces — the brand has developed an international cult following, producing hit after hit like nobody else. Across the entirety of their massive catalog, Kapital is consistently exceptional, earning their reputation of style, brilliance, and just a hint of madness.

This is a very ür-Kapital item - a Japanese garment combined with Western touches, and then distressed and reworked. Featuring three external pockets for storage, the collar has been upgraded with a corduroy patchwork design, and the mismatched buttons come off as having all been found lying around a tailor's shop floor. It's got a classic blanket lining inside for extra warmth and comfort, making this an excellent layering piece in combination with the relaxed fit and raglan shoulders.

This piece will only get better with age and repairs. The work has only begun on it, and the simple lines mean you can wear this long enough to need to patch, darn, and rework it many times.
