Description
Wool Sports Jackets like this were a staple in most 1930s wardrobes. While they may have fallen out of widespread popularity over the last century, they've never fallen out of style.
These are the perfect jacket for a cool early morning, or a chilly night out on the town — It's perfect for several other things as well, but I trust you can extrapolate and figure out when the best time to wear this is, otherwise we'll be here all day. The fit is relaxed but not big, easy to layer comfortably, but not visually oversized or slouchy.
The body is all wool (100%), with no lining for a gentler drape and a bit less insulation that makes this jacket wearable when it's not freezing outside. Custom Shinki horsehide trims have been deployed strategically across the garment, with the heaviest concentrated around the cuffs.
The rest of the details are similarly impressive, from the custom brass MCCOY zipper, to the deadstock Talon chain zip, to the stainless buckles for adjusting the half-belt across the back. Two (horsehide trimmed) leather handwarmer pockets give you a great place to warm your hands, while the single chest pocket is great for little things, like keys or several dice.
Fits true to size. Dry clean or spot clean only.
