Description
The Lot.001 jeans use a completely custom indigo denim, developed and produced by The Real McCoy's — clocking in at about 14.25oz, it is completely unsanforized (aka "shrink-to-fit") and raw. Designed to most accurately replicate denim from the mid 1950s down to the most minute detail, the yarns for this fabric were produced on some of the oldest spinning machines in Japan, then woven together on vintage looms that accurately reproduce the quirks of the original fabric. In addition to matching the yarn-consistency and weave of the originals, McCoy's have matched the color as well, dying the fabric indigo a full seven times to replicate the original material in both appearance and dyeing technique.
Sewn up with The Real McCoy's custom 100% cotton thread, these jeans will wear and age exactly like an original pair from the 1950s. Essentially, these are the most authentic "vintage" jeans you can get without a time machine.
The fit is just as good as the fabric, with a high rise and a full, straight fit through the leg. Iron-faced Real McCoy's buttons close up the fly, while McCoy's copper rivets reinforce stress points - both will patina over time in tandem with the fabric as you wear the jeans.
Unsanforized (shrink to fit) denim. Choose a waist size that is 1 inch larger than your actual waist size, or 2 inches larger for a more relaxed fit. Waist will shrink to tag size, and stretch back out a bit with wear — other measurements will shrink approximately 3% after a hot soak.
