W'Menswear was founded by Lauren Yates in 2015, born out of a desire to produce high quality, heritage-inspired garments for women - with a nuanced and ever-evolving perspective on femininity at the intersections of fashion, workwear, military garments, and history. Originally operating out of a converting shipping container in Bangkok, the brand has grown substantially with each new collection, employing specialty and custom fabrics as well as partnering with local workshops & artisans.

The 2024 collection, titled Diesel Fueled Defiance, is inspired by women who were on the forefront of automobile racing during the Civil Rights movements of the 1960s. Facing down particularly fierce and widespread sexist sentiments, these women brought about advancement for all women through their relentless pursuit of speed and the feeling of adventure.

The Service Blazer is a smart semi-formal jacket with workwear roots and contemporary details. It's got a covered placket, with three external pockets and a high lapel stance - the hardware is all metal, with custom W'Menswear buttons at the sleeves and up the front. The hem is flat, with no vent for a more casual drape and relaxed impression throughout.

The deadstock Japanese tweed body is made with a blend of 70% wool, 10% nylon, 10% acrylic, and 10% polyester - a comfortably warm and durable fabric reminiscent of vintage flannels and featuring a neppy herringbone pattern. Inside, it's lined with a soft 100% cotton twill for extra weight, warmth, and comfort.
