MATiAS pieces fall somewhere between avant-garde and vintage workwear, into the realm of "post-heritage" - where the techniques and materials of the past intersect with new ideas and original styles. Designed and manufactured in-house at their LA workshop, MATiAS produce some of the best fits we've experienced, with subtle and sometimes unusual tailoring details, employed deliberately to perfect drape, enhance comfort, & compliment their remarkable fabric choices.

The Rivera pant is MATiAS's slim tapered fit, cut with tastefully cropped legs, four pockets, and an easy drawstring waist + single-panel construction. Constructed with a single seam on each leg, shaping darts in the front and back, no yoke, and a cleanly finished interior, they're a seriously impressive combo of both tailoring and design. The waistband is its own piece, and contains the previously mentioned drawstring for adjusting your fit on the fly.

They've got two front hand pockets with easy slash entrances and two classic bucket pockets on the back, so, the usual amount of space for your goods. The hardware is also serious, on par with the fabric and tailoring - with tonal rivets reinforcing key areas, and a zip fly with a custom patinated button and toggle closure.

Made from a 100% hemp fabric, the "Kurai" fabric clocks in at a respectable 11oz, with the breeziness and drape of linen but the thickness and comfort of cotton. The weight and weave of the fabric come together exceptionally well, easy to wear in just about any season.

Fits true to size with an adjustable waistband. Wash cold and hang dry.
