An early model of the garment that would go on to be named the "PARKA, EXTREME COLD WEATHER" these editions were confusingly called M-65, not to (again, confusingly) be mistaken for the completely different M-65 Field Jacket.
The M-65 Parka differs significantly from the M-65 Field Jacket. Featuring just two wool-lined front pockets and a fishtail silhouette, the interior of the jacket includes buttons to attach a secondary liner. The fit is wide and relaxed, cut long for layering over one or several other garments of various thicknesses.
The Real McCoy's version replicates the original fabric down to the yarn level, sewing these up in a custom cotton/nylon twill. The front zips up with a custom The Real McCoy's zipper, an accurate reproduction of the original Talon zippers used.
Runs large, meant to be worn oversize. We suggest going true to size for the intended fit. Wash cold, hang dry.
