Description

Established in the mid-1930s, Yoshida & Co are among the best-known bag making companies in the world. Their PORTER line, named for the luggage-carrying profession of porters, is among their most popular, gaining international renown and recognition during the 1980s, and maintaining a cult status since then. Their bags are remarkable, all original designs, produced with custom textiles and hardware that will only get better with age.

This simple shoulder bag is an incredible every-day bag with a surprising amount of storage and virtually no bulk. Featuring an adjustable shoulder strap, it's made from a nylon/cotton twill fabric, and takes inspiration from 1950s-era work aprons and tool bags, hence the focus on utility. It's been given a washed finish to completely soften the fabric, but not at the expense of the bag's durability, as this thing features metal rivet reinforcements and triple-needle seams throughout.
