A more old school style of chore coat than the coverall, Monitaly's Italian Jail Jacket is a fantastic every-day jacket. It's made from a very fun gingham striped that combines both patterns into something entirely new: a mad weaver's experiment.
The pattern is minimal and uncomplicated, evocative of old hospital and jail jackets, designed for simple utility and everyday comfort while doing a variety of different tasks. Featuring sturdy double-needle flat felled seam construction throughout and set-in sleeves, the front closes up with three military grade melamine buttons (with a secret fourth button can be used to secure the lapel), everything about this is made to last.
For storage, three bucket pockets sit across the front in the classic orientation, so you'll have space for your hands or keys and whatnot. The whole jacket is left unlined, for maximum lightness and breathability, making this an ideal warm-weather jacket, and a very versatile layering piece when things get cold.
