Originally founded in 2006, Attractions began as a vintage reseller, importing pieces from the United States and the UK before starting their own production in 2011. Their experience in the vintage world provided them with the knowledge and inspiration necessary to develop their own styles, growing into an impressive and very special brand in a market saturated with alternatives.
With a deliberate focus on highly specific and often obscure styles from the last hundred years, Attractions produce some truly stellar and unique pieces, occupying a stylistic wheelhouse closely adjacent to "biker" but plainly distinct from other similar repro brands. Inspired by the progression of youth culture and style, Attractions infuse their own perspective into both the pieces they design, and the ways they design them.
The Heritage Denim Trousers are an excellent "old world" casual pant (that you could certainly get away with dressing up in modern times) with a creased front and a handsome taper. Cut with a comfortable medium high rise, they feature an athletic leg with a noticeable taper the whole way down the leg and ending with an opening that looks great with most publicly acceptable footwear (just nothing gaudy). They've got four pockets for storage, and a metal snap waistband with a classic button fly.
This run is made from a 100% cotton herringbone twill, inspired by vintage US military fabrics. Sturdy and solid at first, this fabric will soften considerably, developing a more gentle drape and relaxed hand as you wear and wash it. Herringbone also breathes better than many other common twill fabrics, making these a great choice for warmer weather or more active days, keeping you comfortable while you look good.
