Cashmere cardigans do not scream "luxury" - they speak it clearly, with a calm, cool demeanor. Featuring a more contemporary zip front, this is not knitwear for the elderly, unless they happen to be like, really cool.
These are knit up in a 95% wool, 5% cashmere blend, and believe me, that 5% works hard folks, as the fabric is incredibly soft to the touch, despite its remarkably heavy weight and chunky wool knit. For utility, there are two bucket pockets on the front, just above the hem. Speaking of the hem, it features a chunky ribbed knit, just like the cuffs, for an extra secure fit.
Featuring a relaxed fit through the chest, and a pretty standard fit everywhere else, the overall profile leans a bit more vintage than contemporary (meaning it has a shorter, wider body than most modern knits). The whole thing is knit flat on vintage machines, and then hand-linked together by the master craftspeople at The Real McCoy's.
