Wonder Looper was founded by industry veterans Risa Saito and Bazad Trinos of Naked & Famous denim (among other projects). With a focus on knitwear, they produce some of the best contemporary cotton knits on the market, manufacturing all of their products entirely in Japan from start to finish. Their pieces are a stellar blend of interesting, unique fabrics and high quality vintage construction details, with excellent fits that lean more true-to-size for Western audiences as well.
The Double Heavyweight Crewneck is a serious heavyweight tee with a shockingly soft and plush hand. Featuring a thick ribbed collar, it's got a modern fit, not too long or short through the body, with a very true chest and shoulders.
Made from a heavyweight jersey knit fabric that weighs in at an impressive 12.1oz or 409gsm, roughly double the weight of a conventional heavyweight jersey fabric. Knit up on tubular machines, it's got a slightly uneven surface texture that subtly enhances softness. Made from 100% cotton, it's reinforced with flat side seams for extra longevity.
Fits true to size. Wash cold on delicate and lay flat to dry.
