In addition to workwear, the Joe McCoy label –– of The Real McCoy's –– also produces some incredible sweatshirts, like this double faced hooded sweatshirt. The hooded sweatshirt came about in the 1930s by simply attaching hoods to crewneck sweatshirts. These became popular with construction workers in New York and were quickly adopted by by all manner of folks looking to beat the chill from athletes to military trainees.

This 1930s "after-hood" style sweatshirt features a standard crewneck head opening with a knit "dorito" reinforcement at the neck. The hood is attached around the crewneck and features a classic cord adjuster. It is made from a heavy duty 10oz loopwheeled cotton jersey and sewn together with 100% cotton thread. The light gray body is off set by darker gray details around the neck, cuffs, and hem. Two hand warmer pockets front pockets round out the design.

Fits big to allow for layering. consider down sizing if you are between sizes. Wash cold, hang dry.
