Originally founded in 2006, Attractions began as a vintage reseller, importing pieces from the United States and the UK before starting their own production in 2011. Their experience in the vintage world provided them with the knowledge and inspiration necessary to develop their own styles, growing into an impressive and very special brand in a market saturated with alternatives.
With a deliberate focus on highly specific and often obscure styles from the last hundred years, Attractions produce some truly stellar and unique pieces, occupying a stylistic wheelhouse closely adjacent to "biker" but plainly distinct from other similar repro brands. Inspired by the progression of youth culture and style, Attractions infuse their own perspective into both the pieces they design, and the ways they design them.
Attraction's Dot Cotton Shirt is a classic 50s style casual shirt with an open collar and and a superfine cotton body. Inspired by vintage summer casual shirts, it's got a relaxed and boxy fit that sits comfortably off the body and layers easily under heavier garments. It's fully pattern-matched through the body and over the single chest pocket.
It's made from a lightweight and tightly woven cotton fabric that's immediately comfortable and easy-wearing. The textile has a slightly more structured drape than similar rayon shirts, with a generally more sturdy texture as well. The hem is flat, and can be worn both tucked and untucked depending on your whims.
