A more old school rendition of Y'2 Car's Coat silhouette, the rounded hem version has just that - a rounded hem for a more elegant and subtly dressy finish. Otherwise, it's got all of Y'2's usual details, two welted hand pockets, a dropped front and back yoke, a relaxed fit, and a simple four button placket. The inside is lined in a soft and cool rayon/poly blend that slides easily over other garments and feels smooth on bare skin, making it perfect for layering.
This special Spring/Summer version of the "EC-76" Car Coat is cut from a cream deerskin leather, with a subtle grain texture and warm tone. Over time, the leather will conform to the wearer's body, relaxing into shape and forming handsome creases in high wear areas, additionally darkening throughout as the leather takes in moisture and light from the atmosphere.
With a plush 1.6mm thickness, it's exceptionally soft from the get-go, requiring virtually no breaking in whatsoever. It's comfortable and sturdy, blending the heft, density, and durability of any other leather jacket with a gentle drape and easy fit that you'd usually only find in woven fabrics. The whole thing closes up with four brown nut buttons - these buttons can be a bit tough at first, but break in quickly with use.
