An extremely elevated take on the classic workwear chore coat, Motiv's Castel Denim jacket looks good from the moment you put it on, only getting better with wear as the fabric softens and takes on color from the world around you. Seamlessly blending workwear and tailoring, the jacket features set in welt pockets fixed to patched pocket bags, a rolling ulster collar that buttons up handsomely, and French seamed shoulders.

It's made from the latest iteration of Motiv's herringbone selvedge denim. Utilizing natural (undyed) cotton for the warp threads and undyed linen for the warp, it's a perfect 50/50 blend that brings the best of both materials - sturdy and comfortable like cotton, while also airy and cool like linen. The herringbone weave complements this further, draping handsomely and breathing better than other more traditional cotton twills or denims.

Clocking in at 13oz, this selvedge fabric comes in a one-wash finish that leaves it soft and broken-in from the moment you put it on. Up close, subtle neps and irregularities can be found throughout, giving even more character to the already unique fabric.

It's cut slightly longer than some contemporary chore coats, helping it to more closely straddle the line between work jacket and blazer, and features selvedge details along the back seam, facings, sleeve seams, and cuffs.
