Description

Unlike some of the other sub-brands of The Real McCoy's, Buco is a real brand from the 1940s. Originally the "Joseph Buegeleisen Co." in 1933, they were specialists in motorcycle accessories and saddlebags. In 1947, they launched "Buco", a full apparel line with the slogan: "Motorcycle jackets, gloves, caps, belts and bags all cut and sewn by life long craftsmen dedicated to the task at hand."

These are a classic horizontal stripe tee, with thick stripes that were popular among the outlaw biker scene of the 1950s, visually reminiscent of prison uniforms at the time. Nowadays, there's a lot less "baggage" attached, leaving a handsome, comfortable, and well-made tee for everyone, rather than just the counterculture. 

They're made from a yarn-dyed heavy slub jersey, with the same weight and face texture as previous editions from The Real McCoy's. The low tension fabric is airy and soft, and the fit is comfortably relaxed throughout — perfect for wearing with jeans or chinos, or while dressed as Chino from the Wild One.

Fits true to size with a relaxed chest. Minimal shrink expected with cold wash and hang dry.
