Description
Nigel Cabourn needs very little introduction, but deserves one nonetheless: having over 50 years experience designing and working in the menswear industry, with multiple decades-old brands and international stores with cult followings under his belt. His eponymous brand has a focus on practical and hard-wearing textiles from vintage workwear, producing inspired takes on classic military apparel from the last century.
Nigel Cabourn’s take on the classic British Battle Dress pants worn by the British (and Commonwealth) military throughout much of the 20th Century. They feature button-down belt loops, double-button closures, and double pleats.
The most recognizable homage to British BD is the iconic pocket placement with a small pocket for a shell dressing (a bandage in civvie parlance) on the right leg and a large map pocket with a flap lower on the left leg. Besides these, the pants feature two side pockets and a single back pocket on the right.
This run is done up in an off-white denim that will stain and darken easily, developing a unique patina as you wear the trousers.
Runs true to size. Wash cold, inside out, and hang dry.
