Since 2006, Mountain Research has been delivering some of the best outdoor wear around – both in style and function. The brainchild of Japanese designer Kobayashi Setsumasa, the brand has a singular focus on outdoor life without falling into any of any stereotypical ravines of the style. Kobayashi takes inspiration from the golden age of outdoor wear, military and naval designs, as well as modern mountaineering gear. Altogether, it refers to itself as ‘Anarcho Mountaineers.’

A little robe a little shop coat, the Ben Jacket has a shawl collar and hits above the knee. Closed with a same cloth belt as well as an internal strap that cuts across the body. The back features a large print wool appliqué letters spelling "Holiday in The Mountain."

Made from a 100% merino wool in a muted Prince of Wales Check. Merino wool is ideal for outdoor wear, lightweight, insulating while still breathable, and quick drying too. It matches the MT Trousers -- Make a suit!

The self fabric belt is secured belt loops and buttons. Two front patch pockets offer amble storage.

True to size with a relaxed fit. Hand wash cold and hang dry or dry clean.
