Manufactured in Japan with the highest attention to detail and quality, each unique style has its own personality, and a deliberate story behind its creation.

Designed by Papa Nui and produced to those exact specifications in Japan, the Beach Combat Jacket is a stellar reproduction of Papa Nui's "all-time favorite vintage piece" the USN N-3. Featuring the style's signature mid-torso chest pockets, which include button and flap covers as well as roomy, bellowed interiors that can hold a LOT of stuff.

It's got a very flattering casual fit, thanks to the square body shape that's relaxed without being baggy, short without being cropped, and feels charmingly vintage rather than dated. Everything closes up with period-accurate black metal buttons, including the sleeves, which feature inward-facing cuff buttons for a more secure wrist that is less likely to catch on things or snag.

It's sewn up in a 100% cotton Japanese frogskin camo HBT that's been rinsed for shrinkage and softness. Coming in at a comfortable medium weight, you can wear it almost year-round thanks to the breathability of the herringbone weave. Immediately comfortable, the fabric will age spectacularly, developing a much softer drape and fading in accordance with how it's worn.
