This 1930s cardigan in 100% wool is a prime example of collegiate sportswear from the era favored by regular Joe Colleges around the country at the time. Likely intended for use on the sidelines and the boathouse, garments like this hooded cardigan made their way into classroom styles.
Think of it as a souped up sweatshirt, made from 5-gauge British wool with two front pockets and contrasting ribbed cuffs and hem. Eight cat-eye Urea buttons close the cardigan to any chill.
