Inspired by the first generation of fully button-up uniform shirts issued by the US government (previous models were pullovers with only half the front buttoning), Mister Freedom's Snipes Shirt is a fantastic military style work shirt. Featuring two large flap chest pockets (with pen compartments in both) and clean construction with heavy duty double row stitching throughout, it'll hold up if you need to do some serious work in it, and doesn't look any less good if you don't.
Many of the original military design features are retained with the Snipes shirt. It's cut with an unstructured one-piece collar which wears handsomely both open and closed. Reinforced elbows and bar-tacked side seams give it some additional heft and durability in the field.
The Snipes shirt is a Mister Freedom perennial, but always with a different fabric. This time, its in an unwashed all-cotton herringbone twill (HBT) in a classic US military color: Army Green shade 44. The shirt comes together with brown corozo wood “cat-eye” buttons.
The Snipes shirt in HBT is cut to fit the marked sized after an initial soak and line dry. Mister Freedom recommends a 30 to 40 minute cold soak with little agitatation then line dry before wearing.
