The Calico is a Freenote riff on the single sawtooth western shirt. Done up this time around in an alternating stripe indigo fabric, it's one of the most handsome western shirts we've got in the shop, and over time will fade with wear and washing. The stripe pattern is sewn on the bias at the pockets and yokes, adding a bit more visual interest to the already attractive pattern.
The Calico is Freenote's slimmest fitting western shirt - however, it's not a slim fit shirt, it just runs more trim than the more relaxed Modern Western Shirt. The more athletic fit lends itself towards being tucked in, and looks great under a jacket, but the Calico relaxes well too - not being too long to wear untucked or with cuffed sleeves.
Japanese diamond snaps, curved pocket details, and the usual Freenote 1/8” double needle stitching all work together to make this your new favorite western.
