The Calico is a Freenote riff on the single sawtooth western shirt. For their summer edition, Freenote have selected a lightweight 6oz selvedge denim from Yoshiwa Mills in Japan. It's given a rinsed finish, making it soft and comfortable from the minute you put it on.

The Calico is Freenote's slimmest fitting western shirt - however, it's not a slim fit shirt, it just runs more trim than the more relaxed Modern Western Shirt. The more athletic fit lends itself towards being tucked in, and looks great under a jacket, but the Calico relaxes well too - not being too long to wear untucked or with cuffed sleeves.

Japanese diamond snaps, curved pocket details, tonal thread, and the usual Freenote 1/8” double needle stitching all work together to make this your new favorite western. 

True to size. Prewashed, so minimal shrinkage expected with a cold wash, and hang dry.
