The Band Collar shirt is one of Indi + Ash's core styles, a classic long-sleeve shirt with a minimal band collar and elegant, relaxed profile. Each shirt is made start to finish by a single operator, resulting in exceptional quality and attention to detail throughout construction. Lightweight and comfortable, it breathes well and feels good worn tucked or untucked.
Cut with a relaxed fit through the body, the front hem is flat, while the shirttail is slightly curved, giving you the freedom to dress it up by tucking it in, or keep it untucked for a more casual aesthetic. A surprisingly roomy chest pocket sits on the left breast, while mother-of-pearl buttons and French seams do the work of holding everything else together.
It's made from Kala cotton, a wild organic cotton from India that is grown without any pesticides, fertilizers, or irrigation - growing perfectly fine on just rainwater and its own natural resistance to pests and disease. Naturally short staple, a special finishing process combined with hand-weave produce a fabric that is soft, light and airy. The hand is cool and dry, wearing similarly to linen but without all the wrinkles.
Featuring a fine Bengal stripe pattern, the fabric is dyed with natural Sappanwood for a handsomely warm-toned pink finish over an ecru body.
Fits true to size with a relaxed fit. Wash cold and hang dry.
