Since its founding 2001, designer Hiroki Nakamura's Visvim has built an extremely dedicated cult following. With a laser focus on crafting unique and high quality "future vintage" garments, Visvim has gained international acclaim over the past two decades for their unique perspective and exceptional design. Not limited strictly to workwear or couture, they produce Folkwear, inspired by regional and historical manufacturing techniques from mud-dyeing to crocheting, with collections that build off of each previous year and develop holistically, season after season.
The Stanza Jacket is inspired by Southwestern American blanket souvenir jackets of the 1930s-1950s. It features a custom zip front, two front patch pockets, adjustable cuffs and an inside pocket. No two are exactly alike.
The jacket is made from a jacquard-woven fabric made with Nikke Co., Ltd on only one loom. The fabric is made from of cotton, linen and wool, giving the fabric lots of depth and texture. the leather sleeves and pockets are made from French vegetable tanned leather. Inside, the jacket and pockets are rayon lined.
A cropped, boxy fit. True to size. Do not clean.
