Taking some inspiration from vintage military garments like the P1944 jacket, Indi + Ash's Reversible Rana jacket is an exceptional two-in-one piece of outwear made from one of the most interesting indigo fabrics we've ever seen. Featuring two different custom prints (one side indigo cloud camo, one side indigo paintbrush camo), both of which will fade over time with wear and washes.
Cut in a relaxed light jacket pattern, it starts out fairly rigid, despite being washed twice prior to finishing - the fabric will break in and relax significantly with wear. As mentioned above, the jacket is fully reversible, with different patterns on each face for maximum variety. Only the cloud camo face features external pockets, with two roomy side entry chest pockets (they become internal if you wear the paintbrush camo face out).
Made from a tough mid-weight organic cotton canvas, the Reversible Rana jacket owes its advanced coloration to multiple overdyes in an all-indigo vat for one of the richest, darkest indigos we've seen. This highly saturated dye will fade noticeably over time, developing an incredibly unique patina with wear. Due to the high levels of indigo in the fabric, these will bleed/crock indigo noticeably until after the first few washes, so we advise care while it's still new, to avoid accidental dye transfer onto other garments and surfaces.
Double-sided corozo nut "flying saucer" buttons close everything up, and will patina beautifully alongside the fabric. Be aware that even though these have already been washes, they will bleed/crock a considerable amount of indigo for a while.
