Initially launching as a menswear label, they've since expanded their sizing to include women's and unisex offerings as well.
The styles range from the more casual to the most hardcore technical apparel you can find, with each garment including an illustration of 1-3 mountains on the tag that denote its overall "field level" of performance. Pieces with only one mountain are suitable for everything from the city to the campground, two mountains work for more intense hikes and outings, & styles with three mountains are equipped for the most serious inclement weather and seasonal intensity.
The PE Waffle Tee is a 100% polyester thermal style hiking-knit with a single large chest pocket and a cropped torso. It's got a ribbed collar and cuffs, with a reinforced hem and a partial mesh lining. Loose through the chest, it's cut short for a breezy and obviously-cropped silhouette.
The 100% polyester waffle knit is lightweight, with a tight pattern that regulates heat remarkably well and washes easily after its been worn. The shoulders are reinforced with cloth patches on the front and back around the sleeves, a detail reminiscent of vintage hunting and pilot's garments.
