The Carpenter's Apron Over-Alls are a uniquely "old school" overall, with the perfect blend of utility, minimalism, and style. They feature a removable two-pocket apron bib, that buttons directly onto the front of the garment and hangs over the front pockets (on the pants portion). Beneath that, it has two wide, straight legs with 2 back pockets, 3 front pockets (I'm counting the coin pocket), and one more for good luck on the left thigh.
The fabric is a lightweight, all black, 100% cotton duck canvas that has been finished with a light paraffin waxing. It starts off quite stiff, but will break in quickly, taking the shape of the wearer and relaxing where it needs to. The wax finish gives the fabric additional wind and water resistance, and allows the fabric to develop a beautiful patina over time, with tonal variation at points of movement and friction.
The finishing details are equally stellar, with solid two-row stitching throughout (necessary for the dense duck canvas) and corozo nut buttons on the placket and sleeves. The shoulder straps can also be adjusted with buttons, so you can be assured of a secure and comfortable fit at all times..
Fits true to size. Spot clean, wash cold on delicate cycle, do not tumble dry.
